Method 1:

Add to the DaVinci Resolve folder on your hard drive, which can be found with the path below.

Mac:

/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve

Windows:

C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve

Inside there, open the following folders:

Fusion >> Macros

Installation Path

And move the <<Maps_MarkusMcKay>> folder here.

If one of these folders does not exist, feel free to create it and paste the <<Maps_MarkusMcKay>> folder in there.

Restart DaVinci Resolve, and the macros can be loaded inside Fusion.

Method 2:

Alternatively, you can open a new Fusion composition. Then click on

File >> Import >> Fusion Composition >> (select the .comp file)

THIS WILL OVERWRITE YOUR CURRENT COMPOSITION!!!!!

Is the map royalty-free?

Yes. The map is generated from data that belongs to the public domain.

Is anything AI-generated?

No. Everything is made by real people. Nothing included in this pack is AI-generated.

Is it possible to change parameters?

Yes. The map is imported as a group. You simply opened a group, and you have access to all the notes with full control.

Is it compatible with world composition?

Yes. Both compositions are lined up. You can import them, and they fit perfectly together.

How can I use the map?

Imported into your fusion composition and connected to an sRender node. Then connect as read out to the rest of your composition.

As long as you apply any transformation before the sRender node, the map stays sharp.

Why does the map turn blurry?

Apply any transformation before the sRender node to keep working with vector graphics. If you apply any transformation after the render note, you work with raster graphics.
